Consent to personal data processing

The College of Polytechnics Jihlava, ID 71226401, based at 16 Tolsteho Street, Jihlava, CR, on the basis of Section 50 of Act No. 111/1998 Coll., on Higher Education Institutions and on Amendments to Other Acts, as amended, automatically processes personal data to the extent of data provided by the applicant in the study application to ensure the admission procedure.

Due to the fact that the College of Polytechnics Jihlava performs the processing necessary to comply with the legal obligation of the administrator in accordance with the provisions of Section 5 para. a) of Act No. 101/2000 Coll., on the Protection of Personal Data and on the Amendment of Certain Acts, as amended, the provision of personal data is mandatory for all applicants for study. If the applicant does not provide personal data, his or her application for study cannot be accepted and processed by the College of Polytechnics Jihlava.

The College of Polytechnics Jihlava provides the following information pursuant to Sections 12 and 21 of Act No. 101/2000 Coll., On the Protection of Personal Data and on the Amendment of Certain Acts, as amended (hereinafter referred to as the “Act”):

On the right to access personal data according to Section 12 of the Act: If the subject (applicant for study) requests information about the processing of his or her personal data, the administrator (the College of Polytechnics Jihlava) is obliged to provide this information (containing a communication pursuant to Section 12, Paragraph 2 of the Act) without undue delay.

On the protection of rights according to Section 21 of the Act: Any subject who discovers or suspects that the administrator is processing his or her personal data contrary to the protection of the personal life of the entity or contrary to law, in particular if the personal data are inaccurate with regard to the purpose of their processing, the entity may ask the administrator for an explanation or request that the administrator eliminate the situation (especially by blocking, correcting, supplementing or disposing of personal data).

If damage other than property damage has occurred as a result of the processing of the entity's personal data, the claim of the damage shall be exercised in accordance with Act No. 89/2012 Coll., Civil Code, as amended.
