Anotace


Summary


The course aims to familiarize students with basic knowledge Human Resource Management and to create a basis for solving the basic situations from this area. The lectures are focused on the interpretation of basic concepts, contexts and causes of selected economic phenomena. Seminars are dedicated to the practice of individual topics on specific examples. 



Knowledge


Students are able to describe the subject of Human Resource Management and understand the importance of Human Resource Management for the success and the development of teams and organisations. Students also can identify the main activities of Human Resource Management and explain their fundamentals. Students will possess the basic knowledge for a successful team leading and teamwork, so as for basic practical situation such as the selection of new workers. 


Skills: Students are able to manage a basic situation in Human Resource Management, as well as to work in a team and to work with his motivation. Students are able to participate in selecting new employees, are able to manage basic communication situations. Students are able to view the economic decisions in the organisations and their results in the context of Human Resource Management. Students will be ready for fundamental situations which may happen in Human Resource Management and are able to solve them.


General competencies: Students are able to work and to make decisions on their own, they are able to create and interpret their own opinions.
